I am disabled due to multiple back surgery's and strokes. For the last 6 years I have allowed myself to become 100 pounds overweight. I justified it by blaming my inability to be as physically and mentally active as I was before my disability's. I also suffer from depression which tends to cause sufferers to not have the will to exercise and diet. However, I am also a Christian minister and have been motivated through faith to get myself in shape to do the work our Lord has asked of me.
I may not be able to due strenuous exercise yet, but with God's help and encouragement, I will increase my exercise regime as I lose the weight that hinders me. In the mean time, I walk, and do light exercises and stay on the tracker and spark recipes daily.
For those of you who are in the same boat, I welcome suggestions or questions on the best way to fight depression and move on to a better way of life.
