All protein powders are not the same so you must read labels. Some have as little as 6 or 7 grams of protein and others a lot more. Some are sweetened with artificial sweeteners and others have none. My local health food store always has someone to help you when you have questions so yours might, too. I have 2 different kinds I buy - one is sweetened which I add to my fruit smoothies even though I hide some veggies in there as well. The other one is unsweetened which I had to vegetable smoothies but to all other kinds of things as well such as spaghetti sauce, cereals, oatmeal, etc.
