I too am mid 50s, dealing with the Paws. Quit smoking 3-4 yrs ago. Understand what your going through.
For me, educating myself was key. Modified menu, exercise, suppliments changed it all and rather quickly. I'm lucky in that my husband is right in there with me.
I'm glad to share what we've learned along the way. We've changed our life style but deny ourselves nothing.
