Walking is a good starting place. For myself I need variety so also did tia Chi and
yoga. As I dropped inches I added elliptical and Zumba. Once weight started to
go added weights (5lb still use that weight) and bands.
This summer I started bicycling for first time in 30 years. I still do all the above on a
rotation. I often hit a period of no weight lose, but stick to exercising minimum 30 minutes a day and eating smart. If nothing else bits of an inch go away and I gladly take
progress in any form, inches, pounds, ability to do something new or that I
couldn't do for years.
