Thanks for the encouragment. I seem to be on track. I lost 3# !! At the cook-out I loaded up on the veggies, fruits & bottled watter, (had 1 strawberry daqueri, tho). Everyone kept coaxing me to TRY the Portillo's chocolate cake that looked very fluffy and moist.....I took only 1 bite from my husbands plate and just the taste made me feel satisfied and not joining in to eat a huge piece made it feel good for me. :)

True but you have to be aware of how often you slip and re start..
It can be an avoidance technique and a mental excuse sometimes

You are so right. We have to just get back up when we slip. I didn't have a great weekend but I'm back on track today!

I feel better today after really watching what I ate and what I didn't eat. I get it but it's very hard because I love to eat so much! Today I took my grand daughters to their swim lessons and walked our dog. Going to work out at the gym with my husband later. We have a cook out to go to later, too. Help!! I'll keep you posted.
