I've moved around the country quite a bit, but now live in the Appalachian mountains of southwest VA. I'm a big fan of small-town life. But I still like to visit bigger cities too for a change of pace from time to time. It's fun to take advantage of all the shopping, restaurants, and cultural opportunities that they have to offer. Funny, when I lived in cities, I always took my vacations in the country, mostly in the mountains. Now that I live in the mountains, I tend to gravitate towards cities to get away. I guess a change of pace is good for whatever ails you.
