So it's pretty clear that SparkPeople is focused on the little steps and daily goal achievement, which is great. And many, many an article encourage the user to set up intermediate goals to keep on track. Great advice.
Now it would be even better is there was some way of inputting these intermediate goals with perhaps reminders when you reach the intermediate goals. For example: Let's say you're trying to lose 50 lbs. At 25 lbs the user is setting an incentive. When SparkPeople detects that the 25 lb goal has been met it should send a SparkMail or a sparkgoodie etc to remind them and give the user a pat on the back for getting there.
