Has anyone else noticed that you will get ads based on searches you've done ? For example, after going into Brahmins website I will start seeing ads for the purses, etc that I have looked at on their site. Like I said in an earlier post, the only ads that bug me are the ones that get in my way and make me click that X to make it go away.
Aaaannnnnd it happened again tonight ! I decided to make the Mushroom & Barley soup. I wanted to make that big X go away & yep ! Recipe goes away because I didn't position it " just right " and I was taken to an ad ! *sigh*
The only ad(s) that get me irritated are the ones that pop up when I'm looking at recipes. Large banner with an X that you have to touch to make it go away. The problem? You have to position that stupid X strategically so you aren't taken to another page and have to go back to the recipe you were trying to look at. Annoying to say the least.

I agree - there has to be a way for the page to have advertising without the ads interfering with functionality. I really hate that I can't navigate around the page until all of the ads have loaded, and since each one moves and has animation, this can take a while. It's kind of to the point that I wonder if there is another website out there - or an option where I can remove the ads for a monthly fee. The site just doesn't work well with Chrome, and it might be time for a redesign.
