But the number on the package doesn't mean much because it doesn't differentiate between natural and added sugar. Natural sugar (like the kind found in milk or fruit) is something we'd consider to be part of a healthy diet, but added sugar is something you'd want to try to avoid. So until those two numbers are split out on a label, the numbers are kind of deceiving.
