Just joined and realized that there is no Windows phone app...and I can find no way to import data from my Fit. So, while this site looks cool and has some helpful features and community support, ultimately I have no intention of entering my data twice which means that this site doesn't meet my needs and is of little value to me.
I'll keep my account open for a while and hopefully Sparkpeople developers will read this and get with the program. But good luck to you non-Windows people.
Sorry, but I just learned that we will not be adding a windows phone app. We are continuing to update our mobile website though, including the trackers, so I would recommend using that. You can simply go to your phone's web browser and go to www.sparkpeople.com and that will take you to the mobile site.

It's so upsetting! I haven't been able to use SparkPeople like I would like due to this fact. I don't have time to always be on the computer to log my food and exercise. There are apps available, but the most important one - the food tracker - is non-existent! I've had to resort to using MyFitnessPal, which I am not that fond of.
Trying to get back on track after the worst year that I can remember.
I dont understand why this app has not been developed. you have other apps from spark people for windows so why not the main one that EVERY spark people subscriber will use. Please hurry up. we cannot lug our computers around the place to track our progress and it becomes a real task at the end of the day to fill in.
I used sparkpeople successfully well over two years ago. Once I got a Microsoft phone however . . . My progress has come to a complete standstill. I have tried to motivate myself to no avail. I have a step counter and even compete against my physically fit husband but it is not rewarding for me like when I struggled alongside others like me.
To say I am disappointed in spark people is an understatement. I keep looking for something and instead keep finding useless recipe apps instead of the basic support that you would expect. If I were capable . . . I would make the app myself but I am not. I wish you would realize just how important this is to people like me. I spend most of my time near my phone - not my computer.
Left SparkPeople some time ago, so long I had to create a new log in to get back, Anyway, dismayed after joining to learn there is no app for windows phone, worse yet, looks like you have been stringing people along with a promise. It is now May 2015 and still nothing.

Well that's good to know. Guess I will just have to keep searching. It's just too bad that all these sites that are willing to help us lose weight, don't want to give us total support in our efforts. I might just have to go back to pen and paper.
I sure wish SparkPeople would get a windows app. I'm starting over next Monday, and I need an app for my phone. I may have to give up and use myfitnesspal, since they do have a windows app. But I would prefer to stay here since I have been here so long, and I am familiar with this website. Please SparkPeople are you planning to do a windows app? If, so when?
Windows Phone 8.1 gaining traction, I really think that Sparkpeople should join in...I hear rumor that Microsoft will actually pay them to write an app. Does it get much better?! I went to a windows phone a few years ago and have not looked back, I hear more grumbles about IPhone's and Android all the time.
another vote here. Just ditched my 3rd Android phone (left iOS long ago) for a Nokia. Just love this amazingly competent phone. I was really sad to see there is no SparkPeople app! There IS one for myfitnesspal (although not such great reviews...)
Loved the spark app on my Droid but hated the Droid and will never get another. Got my Windows phone a couple months ago and absolutely love it. I agree, there needs to be a spark app for Windows phones.

I would LOVE a Windows app for my phone! I'm horrible at getting to a computer at work, but I always have my phone. Would be so much easier, and the Lord know I need all the help I can get....PLEASE consider coming up with an app for us Windows phone users, PLEASE!!?
I have posted a few times regarding a windows app for spark people. I love my windows phone and I love spark people however it is frustrating that when people post asking if there is anything in the works for a app there is no definitive answer. I would like to know if creating a app is something that is even being considered by spark people. I will not going to go out and buy other electronical devices just so that get a spark people app but it seems to me that there are more than just a handful of sparkers who would love to see this app become available. Please let us know. Thank you for all the help that you have given me on my weight loss journey.
Definite +1 for windows phone app... I have three kids, so I don't get a lot of time to sit down at the computer, and the mobile web page is just shy of unusable. I know a windows phone app would make my goal tracking a lot easier. How is My Fitness Pal, for those of you that are switching over? I may have to join. I love sparkpeople... but it's getting to the point where it's not the same help that it used to be, because I can't keep up with the info as well...

Thanks for the tip on myfitnesspal! I have asked about a sparkpeople app for Windows Phone several times in the last 2 years, still no app. This looks promising. Not giving up my Windows Phone, and the Sparkpeople mobile web just doesn't cut it.
You don't have to leave. You can use the mobile site... and it's free.
