I would love to work at Sparkpeople as well! I'm in California, so would be happy to help virtually in any way possible. I'm currently an instructor at a university, teaching Human Resources and Management. I also have a background in Medical sales, marketing, Salesforce.com Administration, recruiting, staffing, marketing and customer service. If I can be of any help, please let me know. Also, you can review my LinkedIn page by using my full name.
Thank you for your consideration!
Don't ever let anyone else but YOU define your self-worth.
I would LOVE to work for SparkPeople - beyond what I do already in promoting this wonderful site to everyone I talk to. I am a writer with a marketing background - and am so personally inspired by every facet of this program. I would love to know how to be a contributor in an official capacity.

I would LOVE to work for SP too! Reading all the responses to this, I find myself nodding over more than one I have in common with others who have said they want to work for SP. I am a writer with over a decade of customer service experience and computer savviness, and being on here is a big part of my life!!
SparkPeople would be such an awesome job. Only if they had something where I could work from home because I am on this site all the time anyways. I wonder how you would go about getting job with them. I did an internet search and nothing really came up.

Working for SparkPeople for actual pay would be a great job, but if you think about it all of us who really work the SP program DO work for SP.
We support the program, we challenge others to join, we strut our stuff when we reach a goal and give SP the praise for it. We absolutely endorse SP in everything we do. I tell everyone who I come in contact with about SP. Everyone from my Doctor to the stranger in the store who is buying fresh produce.
Yes, we all work for SP. We may not get cash for what we do, but we do get the satisfaction and pride of saying, " I belong to the biggest health and fitness club in the world."
Think about it.

I am a Dietetics Student at Central Michigan University in Mt Pleasant, MI. I am getting reading to apply to internships and am looking for unique experiences. If there are ever volunteer opportunities with spark people I would love to help out! I also used to write for e-how about health and nutrition and this is the area I would like to focus on once I am Registered Dietitian. Thanks! :D
I would love to work for SparkPeople, too. I have 12 years experience in customer service and I would be interested in working from home helping out customers via email or phone. I love helping people solve their problems.
Great goals and great attitude. You can do anything you set your mind, too. I'd love to see you as a fixture on SP, too. It's one of the best online communities I have ever been so lucky to be a part of.
Amen! Boy I would love that myself! I am quite impressed with the people and site overall. I am new to SparkPeople but I would sure love to help others and make a difference. Sure would be gratifying to do something worthwhile. Guess I would have loose my 60# before Spark would even consider me. I am to open to employment offers if they'll have me though!

Philippians 4:13 - I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Man, I would love to work for spark people too, it would fit my passions so well - I'm an Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate.. and this would just fit the bill - wish they had an area where you could apply - kinda hard to become a "presence" in the community when I work 3 jobs :(
I'd want to do research and analysis based on the ACTIVE members of SP. I agree while getting healthier, I've had a notion to help other people - however, I've found many people are like I used to be and they have every excuse in the book to NOT help themselves, that leaves me discouraged.
So, I think I will just go back to school and become either a Med Asst or a Nutritionist!
Thanks so much for reaching out about jobs at SparkPeople! While we do not have any open positions at this point, we would encourage you to remain active in the SparkPeople community and keep an eye out for announcements from us. We have been known to periodically fill new community related roles from SparkPeople members who have “made a name for themselves." We also announce other open positions, such as programmers or experts, in our community as well.
I keep seeing how some members have actually become employees of SparkPeople and, being a Native Californian, I would love to go back working in a healthy environment. Great minds think alike, right?
I was starting college in my late 40's with a goal to become a Registered Dietitian, however, situations on the homefront have stalled that. I would love to train to be a Nutritionist/Personal Trainer as well. But, I always have clerical skills to fall back on. I have a very pleasant phone voice and if that's what my job were to be, I would be the best receptionist/clerk that I could be!
Call me crazy, but I'm learning that nothing is impossible!
