Pre ordering the Spark book is worth 1000 points. the only other way I can think of is if they do what is called "tracking ahead", if someone does the same routine every week or month they can enter it ahead of time in case they get busy or it is just convient. It balances out on the days later on in the month. Or you can do it for your food tracker too. those are the only ways I know of. namaste

It is not just running that get you points. click on the TOOLS link and scroll down to the SPARKPOINTS link and check out all the ways you can get points. logging in, reading articles, web searching, tracking food and exercises, blogging, message boards, there are lots of one time ways to get points in your fast break stage articles are worth 5 each, and in the other stages too, emails get points, reading blogs, it is a blast figureing out how to get points but the best thing to do with points is to buy things for Spark friends. namaste

The people that get so many points at the beginning of the month are doing what is called --tracking ahead. They may have the same workout program, eating habits etc. for the whole month so they just go ahead and enter it all at once. It could be too they don't have the time on a daily basis to sit and enter everything so they do it at the beginning of the month. It evens out at the end of the month.

I didn't use to get as many but now consider it a bad day if I don't reach 100. It usually means I didn't get much cardio in. I have gotten point happy and try and do what you get points for. I try to always huddle with every team and comment on either a blog or thread.

hI Sparkmates! i'm fairly new and only just getting the hang of these points...usually i average about 50 each day, mainly because i haven't got the hang of a proper exercise routine yet...(i am chair-bound following a stroke)...my brain is only minimally affected (not a lot there to affect!) so i am doing a lot of studying the articles etc. and am learning quite a lot in a short time (unusual for me!)only one thing i'm upset about...i pre-ordered THE SPARK and have not yet got my points for it...does anyone know how to claim them? if so...do tell...over and out!

I get as many as 125 and as few as 35; just depends on where I'm at and what I'm doing. The big thing is I love the 'competitive' spirit of getting points. I am disappointed because the systemn doesn't count my e-mail points and I have a number I read each day.

I guess it varies. I got 65 yesterday and I have a goal with one of my teams to try and reach 60 each day. I think I am at 45 right now just by going down the list and click, reading, and doing what is asked. My favorite is the triva tests. Have a nice day.

Today I got 125 4 for logging in and the rest clicking on everything and doing everything on the sparkpoint page. It takes a while because I really do read everything and I am actually trying to learn something, but I don't have to do it all at once,I just check in every half hour after I work out and since I am not working right now I have the time. I have my dad print out the recipes for me because his printer is hooked up and mine isn't yet, but I like to have them, the ones I have made are good. namaste

Depends on the day and how much time I spend exercising and how free I am to use the computer. It's nice if you get a high number of "wheel" points, but the best I ever go was five and that was only one. I reached 100 twice.

Why do you need the My SparkPoints for I see trophies but we don't really get them so I just read articles and everything I can until I get tired. Their is so many good articles. Lots of times when I click on the points it say you earn them already. I go on to the next..I really like Sparks if I had the time I would probably live on the computer half the day but my family has needs...How in the world do you get all these e mail I get answered...and I don't get points for them. I made a file to put them in so they aren't in the in mail. Please help if you have a suggestion or do you all get lots...
