No. I notice how my clothing fits.

I'm not a compulsive weigher. I weigh myself every Thursday and I have to give myself a pep talk before getting up the courage to step on. So far so good though. I've lost 8 pounds in 4 weeks.

Yes, I must weigh in every morning. It is my reinforcer that I did a good job the day before, or my wake up call to be much wiser with my choices that day.

I am totally a compulsive weigher, I try to stick to once in the morning and once at night. Ironic how we are supposed to have self control not to eat, but cant control our weighing....wonder if that is connected?

I weigh every morning. It works for me. It helps me know what I need to do that day. AND I need the encouragement when the scale says somthing I like and it gives me new resolve when it says something I don't like. It also helps me decide if what I did the day before worked or didn't work.

I am a compulsive weigher, but I'm trying to break the habit. I've only been working toward a healthier me for about two and a half weeks and I weigh in on Sundays. I've probably stepped on the scale two or three extra times, but it's a lot better than when I weighed everyday. That was so discouraging!

Only lately, yeah....getting a bit compulsive. As in, "Oh, I must lock myself in here and weigh myself naked after my morning youknowwhat", even though we're all trying to get out of the house on time.

Or, my secret joy: weighing myself at NIGHT, after eating, and I weigh less than I did a week or so before. Well, I like that and may keep it, but lose the compulsive (and CHILLY) a.m. naked weigh-in.

Used to weigh myself a couple times a day. The past years just once a week on Monday morning. It helped to put the scale someplace inconvenient to get to.

I work in a medical clinic, so I tend to weigh myself when I'm bored. For the past half year, it seems that no matter how much I eat or exercise, I weigh in at the same... which took the motivation away from exercising. :(

I have a Nintendo Wii Fit, and I weigh most mornings.... or not at all... I rarely weighed myself for 6 months... gained some weight. I am back on it, first thing in the morning for consistency. Will I be able to cut down to ONCE A WEEK? Good question. But the Wii is a great scale to use. I like the exercises/games also, especially slalom skiing.

I weigh myself every morning right after I urinate. I tend not to weigh myself again for the rest of the day, because the fluctuations from morning until night discourage me. But I don't think my actions are "compulsive"... I think it's a great way for me to slowly transition into "maintenance" mode.

I really, really try to stick to once a week - Fridays. But tomorrow is Christmas Day (and a Friday) and we have a special meal planned this evening. So I weighed myself this morning (Thursday) and won't do it again till the New Year.

Who am I kidding? I'll do it 2 or 3 times a week, like a usually do.

YES I AM and I had to stop myself because the fluctuations will bum me out some days. I had my mom hide my scale from me and I only check weekly. That way - I see bigger numbers and try harder each week to get those big numbers. But before that I was on that thing twice to three times a day!! Happy Holidays everyone!! emoticon

Yes! I am so compulsive. I weigh and then double check. I do this several times a day but small fluctuations really don't bother me. I just get excited when I see the numbers trending downward.

I went from not having a scale to stepping on my scale at least twice a day unless I am home all day and then it's every time I go into the bathroom. It took some major will power this morning not to get on it.

When I was a teenager I stepped on the scale at least 4 or 5 times a day. Now I don't step on the scale. I have to force myself to step on the scale and since it's Christmas Holidays I have been avoiding the scale.

It's a scary proposition for me to step on the scale. I bet if I stepped on the scale everyday I would probably be better at sticking to my plans.

Oh yes! I have two scales myself. I had a week where my scale was broken and just couldn't STAND it! So I went out and bought another one and my husband replaced the batteries in my "broken" one! LOL

I like to weigh myself everyday as well. It is suppose to help you battle holiday weight gain. If I have a bad day, I try to give myself a break and opt for a free day!In other words on occasions, I try not to weigh myself.

I weigh myself everyday...sometimes it drives me crazy because it fluctuates so much but I think it keeps me on track more. I try to only pay attention to the ups when it is several days in a row.

I weigh every day but don't get worried by the ups and downs. I just want to be aware if the ups come several days in a row before I've gained a bunch.

I have to force myself to not weigh myself every day. Still I weigh every other day most of the time, especially if I had a gain in a particular week.

I weigh myself first thing in the morning each day. But I don't record that weight on my tracker until I have had the same weight for three days straight. This keeps in me touch with trends, and I don't worry too much a one day increase in weight or get too excited about a drop in weight until it has repeated another couple of days.

I am a scale junkie also. I weigh myself several times during the day. I only record once a week though. I also keep in mind that ones weight fluctuates during the day. So if I gain a pound during the day I dont freak out. As long as I am going down with the weekly weight that I do record.

The scale 'lives' in a cupboard. I have a tendency to let it rule me so I did the obvious ... I removed it! Once a week it comes out. That's it ... no more basing how I feel based on what I weigh ---- success!

I weigh every morning but only count the weight that I get on Mondays. I also take a body fat measurement with a body fat caliper. It is a more accurate accounting of my progress. Sometime the scale doesn't move and in order to not get discouraged the body fat measurement will show that I have lost a half inch or better. That makes me happy and prevents me flinging my scale right out the door

I only weigh about twice a week. What is a good scale to buy as I think ours is off. It shows I'm lighter than what I actually am.

I do weigh every morning, but like some of you mentioned, I only "count it" towards my weight loss goals once a week on Monday mornings. This has helped me to stay positive because I can record the downward trend once a week and I am always making progress, and then the day to day ups/downs don't bother me as much.

I still weigh myself every day though because if I am up I want to know so that I can have an extra good day to make sure I lose that 1-3 lbs by the end of the week!

Officially once per week Sunday at 7:00.
Generally I weigh once per day at night, for water loss watch.
