Never ate spinach as a kid. Now I love it raw. One spinach salad weekly can make a huge difference in preventing macular degeneration and other aging eye problems!

I love spinach but it doesn't love me back. I have no idea why but whenever I eat it, even in small quantities, it causes me such digestive havoc that it is not worth it.

I grew up on canned spinach. Then I discovered fresh spinach! I never could eat it from a can again! Today I buy mostly frozen spinach for serving as a side veg. I love it. But I love fresh spinach for salads. YUM! emoticon

I have started tossing in a bag of chopped spinach when I am cooking a big batch of just about anything. It adds another layer of flavor, plus it stretches the recipe with something healthy. It just doesn't get much better than that!

I am a relatively recent convert to cooked spinach, but now I LOVE it!! That being said, I have always liked it raw, and just love to have a bag of baby spinach in the fridge so that I can make a spinach salad for lunch! I've never had it canned.

My favorite way to eat spinach is by sauteeing it with pine nuts and a drizzle of olive oil until it wilts. Because the Spinach shrinks, I can eat an entire bag in one meal. It's how I get my iron since I don't eat red meat. Add a little salt and pepper to your taste. you can eat it plain or add it in a pocket of pita bread with a touch of lemon juice. Yummy...trust me, it's not your Grandma's cooked spinach.

There IS no try. There is only do.

I like spinach.
Canned with some vinegar (learned this from my hubby). Frozen is fine. I'll even eat it in a salad (didn't used to like it raw), but usually if it's mixed with other greens.

My family makes fresh beans (pintos) with spinach, onion, tomato and bacon...it's a favorite. You could leave the bacon out or used smoked turkey, to make it more diet friendly.

I like it either raw in salad or in a cooked dish (quiche, stuffed shells, etc.) but not cooked by itself.

I love spinach and have it everyday! My breakfast is a half a high-fiber muffin, a slice of 2% pepperjack cheese, half a cup of cooked spinach and a poached egg. Coupled with a cup of low sodium V-8 and a piece of fruit, it's a great way to start the day with lots of fiber to keep me full for the morning!
