Love the stuff - lets me satisfy my peanut butter cravings without the peanut butter calories.

If you shop around you can get it relatively cheaply in bulk on the internet -- look for the 16oz bags (the little jars are 6.5 oz.). I bought the little jar once, and refill from the bulk bags.

Starting Weight: 260 lbs. (November 2010)
Quasi-Maintenance: 165 lbs. (June 2011)
Goal Weight: 150 lbs. (reached December 8, 2011)

Size 22W to Size 4

Currently maintaining within 5 lbs. (+ or -) of goal. I weigh daily, but also use a tape measure and the fit of my clothes to guage how well I'm doing.

This is great information. I saw it this weekend at Walmart. I'll be buying some this weekend.

Maybe I'll try it in the peanut butter cup recipe.

I use it in chocolate protein shakes. I also mix some up to dip apples slices or bananas in.

I am familiar with PB2. It is peanut butter without any oil. All you do is add a TBSP of water to your desired consistency and eat promptly. It stiffens as it sits. It can be bought usually in your grocers organic section or online. Someone buys it for me. It has barely any calories and is delicious.

I've seen it at WalMart too. I haven't tried it but the ideas about adding it to smoothies sounds good. If I end up not liking it an alternative toast topping I'll at least have it for that.

We did not learn to walk without falling. Expect to stumble but get up and keep trying and you will succeed!

I really like PB2, I got a jar at Kroger. It doesn't have as strong of a peanut butter taste as the original stuff, but I've found it to be a great substitute on toast, especially with cinnamon on top

I don't reconstitute it, but have added it to banana "ice cream" (frozen banana pureed in the food processor), oatmeal, etc. Recently was excited to see it at my local Wal-Mart, but also have purchased through Amazon.

Roasted peanuts with all the fat removed, and turned into a powder. I think the stuff is awesome. I don't like how it tastes reconstituted and eaten like that, but I've added it to oatmeal, and smoothies...really yummy without the added fat. I got mine at WholeFoods.

Yes. OK for use in some recipes or smoothies. Add some to the coating for chicken, yum! For use on a pb&j sandwich, no so good.

Yep, I put a tablespoon of it into a nutrition shake. Not only does it thicken it up, but gives it a peanut buttery flavor. But to make general peanut butter, you just put a couple tablespoons into a small bowl and gradually add water and stir to the consistency you want. You can make it as thin or as thick as you like.

Thank you so much for the info! I will be getting some as the calories are so worth it to me and maybe even cooking and maybe into a smoothie. I can hardly wait to experiment with this.

It's powdered peanut butter. I buy it and really like it.

2 tbsp regular peanut butter: 190 calories
2 tbsp PB2: 45 calories

The chocolate PB2 is great for dipping apples. Yummy flavor.

Some people like PB2, some people don't, but I think it's very tasty and I can eat it without feeling guilty about all the calories of regular peanut butter. Basically it's a preference. You'd have to try it to see if you like it or not.

You can buy it online at places like Amazon, Netrition (where I got mine) and GNC. But I've recently seen it pop up in my grocery store (Kroger) in the organic foods section with the other nut butters.
