Most whole foods have at least some protein. The bulk of my protein came from soymilk, beans, and whole wheat pasta today.

I hate it when I do that, make something really good without following a recipe (usually just something I make up) and then when I want to make it again, I can't remember everything I put in it.

Today I had two chicken thighs and one leg, pork rinds (if you can consider that protein, haha) and pistachios.

Roast Beef, I cooked a roast yesterday and the wife said it was hard to chew on her bad tooth. So I made it into a great tasting stew, she really enjoyed it. Now if I can just remember how I made it.... emoticon

Very true.

So far my protein source today has been a glass of skim milk. Boring, ha.

From porridge - including multigrain porridge mix, skim milk, banana, homemade yoghurt, wheat germ and peanut butter

Snacks - a green pear, left-over roast chicken

From stir-fry - including beef, bamboo shoots, stirfry vege mix

From dessert - homemade yoghurt

Protein is found is so many types of foods :)

A lot of my protein comes from some type of seafood. Last night I ate a big bowl of mussels.

We have a thread about fruits and one about vegetables, so why not one about proteins? Meats, soy, beans, dairy, nuts, whatever your favorite form of protein is.

I've been eating quite a bit of salmon lately. A salmon 'burger' (no bread) yesterday for lunch, just your garden-variety frozen salmon, and today for lunch I'm making salmon patties from canned. I like whole salmon filets as well.

What yummy protein is on YOUR plate today? emoticon
