LUCYGODDESS: Decadent is the word. And what's great about using straight roasted garlic to spread onto your bread is you get awesome garlic bread without the fat and calories that come with traditional garlic bread that's spread with garlic butter.
I love garlic! Be careful to stay away from the heavy/creamy garlic sauces though. Right now, my fave is a broiled turkey burger covered with sauteed garlic (lots) and onion- I sautee using pam and a little water, Sometimes I add a slice of baby Swss cheese and place under broiler until melted. No bun, just turkey burger and toppings.

Roasing garlic is the best. I bought a big sock of garlic at Sams Club, roasted, and froze it. Now whenever I want some roasted garlic, I just take it out of the freezer, break a chunk of and let it thaw out.
It's really funny when my husband thinks it's something else and goes to eat it. Good thing he loves garlic as much as I do!
I make garlic green beans. Chop up a bunch of garlic and put it in a large skillet with your green beans (enough for maybe two or three very large servings), a little olive oil (1/2-1 tbsp) and a little (1 tbsp) low sodium soy sauce. Heat until things are sizzling and then add about 1 cup of water. Cover and cook until almost done. Uncover and continue cooking, occasionally stirring, until the water is evaporated.
Well, I'll tell you what, when I'm craving garlic (love the stuff) and I want something that's unique and delicious, I roast it. It's the most divine taste of garlic you'll ever have. Garlic, once roasted, becomes soft and sweet and you can squeeze the garlic right out of the cloves and spread it onto bread. It's the most fabulous stuff ever.
So recently the last week or so I've been craving garlic. Not just a hint of garlic something covered in it. Usually for this I go to my favorite wing place and get some Garlic Wings or my new favorite the Steak and Shake Garlic Burger. Since I know neither of these options are really healthy I was wondering if anyone had any idea's or recipes for something I could make that may also help calm the craving. Trying to keep those vampires away :p
