Did you know....
Natural peanut butter does not mean without added sugars and hydrogenated oil.....,go full fat as sugars and starchy fillers in reduced fat peanut butter are unhealthy and the difference in calories is negligible.

Make sure to stay away from Jiff Whips or Peter Pan Whips...yeah they knocked the calories down....but at what cost to us....they replaced the fat and peanuts with corn syrup solids....yes...more sugar instead of nuts!

If you go for the PB light.... two "flat" teaspoons are 200 calories

I bought PB2 online, but just the other day saw it in my local Kroger store in the organic foods section. But as for online buying, netrition.com has it and, as far as I know, GNC has it as well.

Never heard of PB2, where can I buy it and who makes it?
I have been using Skippy Natural and I find it does not repeat on me and it is not bitter.

I know this is crazy, but I make my own.. I place roasted unsalted peanuts in the food processer and puree until slightly chunky, or add a smidgen of water and process a little more for smooth. Always fresh.

Highest weight-340+

Yes, that's what I use the PB2 for the most, dipping apple slices. I just can't eat apples without peanut butter (or, rather, I prefer not to) and constantly dipping my apple into regular peanut butter was adding up some serious calories. So when I found the PB2, I was pleased. The chocolate one is ESPECIALLY good for apple slices.

I've used it as a spread a couple of times and it really depends on how much water (or whatever liquid you prefer) you use. You can make it as thin or as thick as you like.

I like the PB2 but itsn't really the same. I like to mix it with a pinch of salt, a pinch of sugar (or honey or maple) and some water and then I dip apples in it. It also makes a killer PB/banana smoothie

It doesn't really cut it as a spread, but that is me and it's worth trying

I didn't know if I'd like the PB2, but there was only one way to find out. I bought the regular and the chocolate. Love them both and I can eat peanut butter without feeling guilt for all the calories I'm taking in.

PB2 is a great replacement for regular peanut butter. Also "natural" peanut butter is really good too, as long as it is made with peanuts and salt.

The healthiest peanut butter will be high in calories ... that's just how nuts are. But it's best to get natural peanut butter - the ingredients should be only peanuts, or at most peanuts and salt (some places it's hard to find unsalted). Most peanut butters have added sugars and oils. I don't know, there are probably some with reduced calories, but you go from healthy fats and protein to something with all kinds of added junk that is much worse for you.

What I've found, though, is that the flavor is much stronger with the natural peanut butters (obviously - there aren't oils and sugars taking away from the peanut taste), so you can probably use less and reduce calories that way.

Hi does anyone have any ideas on which peanut butter is the best to buy, I don't want to over do it on the calories...help I love peanut butter
