In addition to carrots and celery, my kids like radishes, broccoli and cauliflower raw. I just keep them in a gallon ziplock bag mixed together. An added benefit of keeping it pre-cut is that in a pinch, I can just grab a handful and throw it in a stir-fry, top a salad, or dump it in while I'm roasting a chicken.

I was totally going to suggest the perfect produce resource center! I just found out about it a few days ago and emailed it to my mom.

We have a Perfect Produce resource center that you may find helpful: www.sparkpeople.com/resource/perfect_prod.
asp
. If you click on a specific item, it will give you some information on how to store it.

I keep reading articles that suggest pre-cutting vegetables to have on hand for snacks - but what is the best way to store them? and other than carrots and celery what else keeps well; can be eaten raw and could be pre-cut?

Thanks

Caz
