Steel cut oats are totally different from rolled oats...in looks, taste and cooking!. They are nutty and chewy in texture. They take about 30 min. to cook and you have to watch constantly and stir often. I make 6 servings at a time , usually on a Sat I then dish them in individual dishes/w lids to take to work with me. I eat them cold, but you can reheat in micro. too. They are better for you than reg rolled oats, more vitamins and fiber.
