I discovered a website drgourmet.com that has fantastic recipes. If you are a foodie like me, you should have a look. The site is by a man who is both a, MD and a trained chef. He recommends the "Mediterrean Diet" and creates his recipes based on it. Some recipes are a bit complicated, but others are really easy, and all of them have incredible flavor.
Right now I am trying the combination of using a Fitbit and Dr Gourmet's recipes in my endless quest for weight loss. My results aren't spectacular so far, but I do seem to be losing weight slowly and I can can now always lose any weight I gain while traveling in about 10 days. The best thing is that I snack much less because the meals satisfy my appetite and my cravings. I have even lost weight when eating pasta, something I didn't think was possible!
He also has recipes for people with medical issues, such as gluten free (he has celiac disease), coumadin users, etc. The site has food and exercise tracking also, but Sparkpeople is better for that, plus it connects with Fitbit.
Foodies, get ready for some truly delicious food if you try these recipes!
