No....I never do and don't even try. I think the water thing is very over-rated, and have read several articles saying that. Some people say it helps them feel full, and if that works for them, great! When I drink it, all I feel is sick-to-my-stomach...it kind of sloshes around and makes me feel sluggish. I drink 2 or 3 cups of coffee and maybe a glass or 2 of wine each day. I'm healthy, have lost 46 pounds, and this works for me, so I'll keep at it!

Lately, I have been struggling to get my water in. This month, I am focusing on drinking 64 oz daily. I will not drink anything else during the day until I've met my water goal.

I just got a new bottle of 64 oz. and I refilled until 3 times a day, some times I use no caloric coconut sugar free flavor, it helps for a change.

I have been drinking 40 ounces of sparkling mineral water a day, but my doctor just said up it to 64 ounces as my kidneys don't look great. I'm not happy, I hate water. My sparkling mineral water is the only way I will drink it at all, and even so, it's not my preference.

This one of the hardest thing for my to do..... The second thing is excercise. BUT I am working on making changes. I came back to SP- because It fits my lifestyle and meets my expectations. So far I have drank the 64 oz- and will work on keep on drinking that amount. I do add some flavoring to the water and count any coffee and herbal tea in that amount.

One step at a time equals big losses in the long run. Remember you are doing this for yourself.

I do. I live in a hot dry climate and my body craves the fluids. I also find when I don't I start to get a headache over my eyebrows. I don't believe in forcing yourself to drink an entire glass if you can't but always have a bottle with you and take sips throughout the day, they add up.

I try and drink at least that much daily. I am usually pretty close!
Our bodies are made up of mostly water. Can't wait until you feel thirsty, the body needs it long before that sensory.

If you are interested in a really good read, quick and easy. I found this book so amazingly informative on WHY it is so important. No one really explained it to me and I found this at my naturalpath's office. I couldn't put it down!
It explains what is happening to your body, your cells, etc... with pictures as well - without water or little water, and with water.

"Your Body's Many Cries For WATER". By F. Batmanghelidj, M.D.
You're not sick; You're thirsty

Magmattin,
I don't drink water either. I tend to get sick to my stomach if I do. I can drink it once it's in a container and frozen. How odd is that? I really have to start drinking water. Diet Pepsi is one of my favorite drink. I also drinking homemade iced tea and Crystal Light.

I drank more than that for years, but now I just don`t....it may have to do with not being about to run to the bathroom whenever I want due to my job, but I have noticed I only drink about 32 oz lately....I really need to do something about that!

I have got a habit of drinking water from bottles. I have 4 separate bottles which only i use. I drink about 3 to 4 litres of water daily.. Is that enough? I do not understand what size glasses are being spoken about, and also how much "oz" exactly measures!

This is one of the hardest things for me to do. I have tried filling a 32oz glass, drinking it before noon and starting again with another 32oz for the afternoon. And yes, I get tired of running to the bathroom. However, I noticed that when I am able to down most of it that I do feel better and not as tired.

No. I go to the bathroom too often if I drink that much. I wake up a few times during the night to go if I drink that much.

I find if I drink a glass before breakfast (after exercising) or with breakfast, I am more likely to make my goal for the day. If I don't really start drinking until midmorning, I am lost. When I teach, I try to drink an 8 oz glass for each class I teach. It helps me listen when students ask questions!
