I have a Rubbermaid bottle that has measurements and is 32 ounces. I keep it by my side, even in the car, and by mid-afternoon I have finished it. I sometimes add blackberries, kiwi and strawberries in my infusion bottle. Yum and naturally low in calories. Then I refill it for evening and night time if I get thirsty.
I drink a lot of Clear American flavored water. It comes in a lot of flavors and it says on the label 0 sugar, 0 caffeine, 0 calories, and 0 sodium. The bottles are 33.8 fluid oz, and I go through about 3 or 4 a day. Swapping these out for soda granted me a 25 pound loss a couple years ago, and made both my kidney doctor and nutritionist a lot happier. It seems to be the one thing they can both agree on most of the time. lol

I saw water challenge on Facebook one day. You make markings down the side of a gallon milk jug for inspiration. It worked for me. I carried that jug around with me for about 3 weeks. So now, I don't carry the jug but I know how much I need to drink. Try it!

I drink a minimum of 128oz a day. things I have found that helped me drink more water: I have a 32oz/ 1 liter Nalgene bottle to track my water. I try to have one finished by lunch, then refill. Also occasionally adding cucumber to my water. I used to really like lemon, but it was causing my heartburn issues to be worse.
I never liked water so I never really drank it. Since I have been trying to eat healthier, lose weight and stay away from sugar I have been drinking it more. However since I have been drinking it more, for the past week...I have only been able to drink 4 cups on average and the most being 6. I takes me forever to drink a full 16 or 20 oz bottle of water. I feel like all I do is drink. I never been one to consume a lot of beverages. I don't think it makes a difference if you drink 6, 8 or more but I could be wrong.
Yes, I have a 32 oz container and I drink from it all day. When I finish the second one I know its 64 oz. I know that when I first started drinking 64 oz of water I was constantly in the washroom, but as my body adjusted to the new water intake my output became more normal.

More or less. I've never personally seen any difference. Could be water is so promoted because it does make you feel full for a short time. I aim for about 32 oz a day. A little more on exercise days. The water calculator on the start page suggests a minimum of 6 8oz glasses a day or 48 ounces. If it was keeping me awake at night, I'd back off to something more comfortable.

No....I never do and don't even try. I think the water thing is very over-rated, and have read several articles saying that. Some people say it helps them feel full, and if that works for them, great! When I drink it, all I feel is sick-to-my-stomach...it kind of sloshes around and makes me feel sluggish. I drink 2 or 3 cups of coffee and maybe a glass or 2 of wine each day. I'm healthy, have lost 46 pounds, and this works for me, so I'll keep at it!

I have been drinking 40 ounces of sparkling mineral water a day, but my doctor just said up it to 64 ounces as my kidneys don't look great. I'm not happy, I hate water. My sparkling mineral water is the only way I will drink it at all, and even so, it's not my preference.

This one of the hardest thing for my to do..... The second thing is excercise. BUT I am working on making changes. I came back to SP- because It fits my lifestyle and meets my expectations. So far I have drank the 64 oz- and will work on keep on drinking that amount. I do add some flavoring to the water and count any coffee and herbal tea in that amount.
One step at a time equals big losses in the long run. Remember you are doing this for yourself.

I do. I live in a hot dry climate and my body craves the fluids. I also find when I don't I start to get a headache over my eyebrows. I don't believe in forcing yourself to drink an entire glass if you can't but always have a bottle with you and take sips throughout the day, they add up.
