I think you could grill and freeze fish just fine. On pastas, not sure I can recommend any that are significantly lower in calories, but whole wheat may be more satisfying.

It's not what I did, but what I do next that sets the course for success.

Will fish freeze well? I would love to throw some on the grill and have that through the week also.
What about the pastas...man, they are SO high in calories. Are their any that I can find that taste good that are WAY lower in calories?

For storage I like the reusable Glad or Ziplock containers in a variety of sizes. They freeze, microwave and wash up well. No staining so far and if they get banged up they are not as costly to replace as Tupperware.
For meals I've been doing a lot of the same things you are - soups (Red Lentil is my most recent), pastas with vegetables and marinara; stews with beef and mushrooms in the crockpot. Meatloaf and a lot of chicken and fish with steamed vegetables.

I'm looking for new things to cook for small meals that I can eat throughout the days for the week. I'm eating 5 small meals a day and just want some new ideas. I've been making, soups, stews, beef tips n rice, chicken, for meals and for salads. I sure would like to find something new.

Anyone else cook food on the weekends for the week? What do you normally store it in? Some of my tupperwares are cracking too, but I really like keeping them in the tupperware because they are easy to take and heat up at work. Any other suggestions?

Any advice or new info would be great.

Thanks,

Leslie
