I love bacon too!

I usually by the hormel natural choice. 80 calories for a serving of real bacon.

Oh the bacon tomato fritatta sounds great.

We did bacon-wrapped asparagus on the grill recently and it was also great!

I love bacon too! I love a really good BLT, and I just found a recipe in one of my cookbooks at home for a bacon and tomato frittata. It is amazing!

Adirondack, You are right. There is nothing like real bacon and occasionally it is okay. We only live once and I, too, will have real bacon now and again.
FitB4, Thanks for the tip on the Hormel bacon. It would be worth a try as a substitute when I don't "deserve" the REAL thing.

I get my bacon fix from using the Hormel fully cooked slices. 4 slices for 70 calories. It is not thick nor dripping with fat, but it is great for a quick BLT or I throw a couple of slices on my breakfast taco.

I love bacon too. My favorite sandwich is a bacon, lettuce and tomato with a slice of cheese. I can have it. Just have to calculate it in my daily calories.
Let's get together for a sandwich. emoticon

Bacon in moderation is fine. I cook mine in the microwave...I like it nice and crispy.

I love bacon as well as the next guy. I am 61 and feel the need to do turkey bacon. Your food is very personal and as long as it fits in your program , all is good. Good going.

love to swim

I had bacon and egg ice-cream a couple of years ago at a "foodie" hotel. It was wierd, but good...

Bacon is not all bad - as long as you use back bacon (not streaky) and don't eat the fat :-)

We had friends over this Sunday, I made a low cal seafood bisque(not easy to do) and put a sprinkle of real bacon bits on top with a sprinkle of diced scallions.... beautiful presentation!

We've had turkey bacon in the past, it is okay, but we keep going back to "real bacon"! Nothin beats the 'real thing'! Just gotta have it!!! Wish there was a 'zero' calorie bacon! haha. I just eat it once in awhile and in moderation like on a BLTO with lots of lettuce!

I love bacon too, and I eat it when I make recipes from Spark, Cooking Light, and Eating Well. It has such a strong flavor that a little goes a long way. These "diet" sources use it often, but in small quantities. That's the secret.

I'm sorry, but I know this is a site for loosing weight...... but I LOVE BACON! And I finally just learned how to make bacon w/o the mess by baking it in the oven on foil on a cookie sheet! I know, I am 61 years old and where have I been all my life, in a stupid closet!!! I have been cooking my bacon under the broiler and burning it, dealing with the smoke alarms all these years!!! What a Nutcase!!! So, I just had to have a BLT today, so I tried it in the oven and it turned out perfect! Cooked it on 400, for 17 minutes! (thick sliced)...... use low cal bread, lots of lettuce and lite mayo and ENJOY! BACON--BACON--BACON!!!!! emoticon
