I am amazed at how many negative opinions are posted to recipes that have nothing to do with the recipe (ie. the reviewer hasn't even tried it) but are just their personal opinion about why they don't like it and won't try it!! Who cares?! and how is that helpful to anyone else who might want to put the recipe to good use (ie. actually try it).
And if you think it has too many calories or sodium or fat, etc.... just ignore it! They are irrelevant to any sparkpeople recipe unless you want to comment how to alter it to meet certain requirements!
And last but not least... there is no such thing as foods we CANNOT eat anymore! Its all about everything in moderation rather than overindulgence.
I read comments to see how the recipe actually turns out and any tweaks people advise. It seems like the negative comments have no point! Too bad those unhelpful ones can't just be deleted. Chef Meg recipes are not always low cal recipes but they are healthier than traditional ones for sure...How about a "Try it before you trash it" rule for the comments? ;-)
