sparkpeople is definitely a life long commitment for me! I don't think there is any failure But learn from your daily mistakes and do better the next day!
3 Big lessons I have learned are
1. I must exercise or I don't lose weight. I HATE every second of it! But if I don't, no matter how strict my diet is I don't lose weight!
2. Allow yourself a cheat meal. Not a whole day But 1 meal. this has helped me to stay focused on nutrition and calories all week long but, come Saturday night I know I can splurge and eat that Chesseburger sub.
3. Measure before you eat. You can eat anything you want IF you know how much you are eating and hold yourself accountable. It is a pain to do But it is easy to really distort portion sizes especially when you are hungry!
