Hi!

If you convert the fraction to a decimal, you can put the measurement in that way (i.e. 1/2 becomes .5).

Unfortunately, if the database doesn't have the type of measurement you're looking for (for example, it only has weight measurements and you need volume) you have to enter the information manually. If you don't have any packaging, you can often find the information elsewhere online. For measurements that can be converted (cups to teaspoons, ounces to grams, etc.), you can use the conversion calculator.

When I input my own recipes, once I type ingredients I get am option of gram, tsp, cup ext. What do I do if the recipe is in a different measurement? example: 4 oz instead of 1/2 cup. Some are not that easily converted so I would appreciate some help. Also is there a way to put halves? I can't add fractions to ingredients.
