don't worry dear ... just one step at a time .... I also have to loose around 25kg (55 lbs) ... but I am determined and I will succeed .. so just take one step at a time start something today and gradually add things as u proceed .. try something for 7 days /... then add something for nextx 7 days ... start brisk walking or jogging from today even if it is 15mins .... just take a step and you will be their/// remember .. slow and steady ... :)good luck chaoo

Don't give up on your self! You've come to a great place here at SparkPeople. Everything you need is here. Education, videos, support, trial and errors, challenges and so much more.
I came back in April. I have a goal to get healthier, live healthier and be healthier. That means losing weight, eating more healthy and moving more. I turned 64 earlier this month and decided that I've got to establish these habits before I retire or I'll be a dead couch potato shortly there after. All this to say - If I can, you can.
Create your Spark page Start and follow the Spark Diet Join a team or two Get settled a bit and join a challenge.
It's all here you just need to put the "you" into it.
You'll have support and encouragement a long the way. You'll also do the same for others. It comes back to you with great rewards. You'll make friends that will lend a hand and lend an ear!

So glad you are taking the steps of starting! I just got back from a mini SPARK rally in Indianapolis that was organized by Indygirl (Beth) and Hoosiergirlindy (Tina). You may also want to look at Bradmill2922 (brad) and OntoVictory (Robert) for inspiration. They all spoke at the rally and all have lost a ton of weight, so inspiring! Never quit. Never, never. Hi, I desperately need to lose about 150lbs, learn better habits and I pray I can keep it off. I would not be truthful if I didn't tell you I am scared to death that I can't do this, I have tried other plans and gained the weight back with a few extra which got me where I am today. 150lbs over weight and so weak I can barely participate in my own life. I have checked out some of the teams and was brought to tears by the support and friendships that have developed between people who only know each other from like experiences, I hope to someday build relationships and support groups like this to help me keep on track and hopefully I can help someone else too. I am somewhere between excited and scared to death;)
