Hello and welcome to SparkPeople! Have you asked your Doctor for a list of foods that you can eat and those you need to avoid due to the high sodium level? That would be your first move! Maybe your insurance company has "nurse on call" where you can check in with them and ask your questions? I have found them to be very knowledgeable for questions like this! You can use lemon juice to add that bit of bite that salt gives to things, that works for me.....hope your Doctor can steer you in the right direction!
