I'm 43 years old. I didn't struggle with my weight until I had my children. Over the course of fifteen years I gained 35 pounds. I really like food. Always have. My grandmother used to tell me as a child, "Now you no you won't always be able to eat like that." Of course as a child I wasn't worried about that. Boy was she right. Food is my comfort, especially when I'm stressed. I've been a teacher for twenty years and love my job. However, the climate at my current school is very stressful and teacher moral is at an all time low....in other words....stressful! I'm a very devout christian and believe God has a definite plan for my life. I have faith that He will see me through this season of my life but I've got to find a way to a healthier lifestyle. Its not just about losing weight for me. I want to be healthy. I want to have energy and live my life to the fullest. I have to have accountability. It's way too easy to say, "I'll start tomorrow." I look forward to meeting people who will hold me accountable for my choices.
