Welcome to SparkPeople. This is a really great site. Find a Spark Team under Community that has the same goals / interests / hobbies you like. This will help keep you motivated on those days or weeks when everything seems to be going wrong. We have been there and know what it feels like.

Small steps will help you in reaching your long term goal. Don't try to change everything at one time or you may feel overwhelmed. For instance, if you drink a lot of sodas, try replacing one with a glass of water each time. After a while, you won't miss the sodas.

Hey guys hope u all doing well. Soo today is my first day using spark people. I have tried so many things in the past and failed...the reason I'm starting this today is I thought I was happy with the way I looked till I saw a picture of myself at a family get together n omg lol. I hope to lose 84lbs over the next year. Cant wait to get to know some of you. Hugs x
