Hi I am new to spark people I am a underserved adult I have been trying to lose weight for the last year now . I have changed my diet and I try to exercise when I can . I am working with a nutritionist . This has been a very tough time for me . I have thought of gastric sleeve but this is costly . I have to lose 66 pounds this is frustrating . I am doing everything I can . Is there a gastric surgeon that you know of that does probono surgery . god bless Jessica

Good luck getting your BP under control! My cardiologist has been lax in getting my high BP treated and my regular doc started me on Bystolic. It has made such a difference in my life!! Finally my BP numbers are coming within (almost) normal ranges. Currently I'm on amlodipine, Losartan-hTz, and clonodine all for High BP. It was feeling really discouraging with my meds and feeling down because I was trying to hard and yet still not budging in my meds. Bystolic has made a wonderful change! :-)

I hope you are able to get your BP and other challenges under control. Of course I'd like to lose weight, but if I can get my BP under control, that is the most important thing.. :-)

I'm also exercising, but my meds have probably helped most of all. Getting off of sugar and decreasing salt has made life challenging but in a good way. :-)

Again, best of luck in your journey!!
