I was in WW too, and stopped due to expense and inconvenience. I just want to belong somewhere with people who are just like me. I like it at SP and I do feel like I belong. I get a lot of really good ideas here, and I intend to use them, I hope someday I can give someone else some good ideas too.

Make a Sparkpage and make some friends! It is so much easier when you are not alone! Start a blog, share your thoughts- all good stuff! Shout if you need anything- we are all here for you! I lost 35 with Weight Watchers at Work two years ago. I too stopped primarily due to cost. I'm hoping to build new community here too. I've started Spark twice before but didn't really get to know anyone. Life is busy and there's not a lot of support in my personal sphere but I'm tired of making excuses. I just want to get this done!
Let's keep each other motivated! I want to be talking about my dazzling success this time next year.
Good luck to you.

"If a person wants to be a part of your life, they will make an obvious effort to do so. Think twice before reserving a space in your heart for people who do not make an effort to stay."
"Your happiness is up to you. Whatever happened in your life to make you who you are up until this point is irrelevant. It is your responsibility now to take control and change your life to be what you want it to be. Energy and persistence conquer all things. Make time, not excuses."

Keep posting and be as active as possible here. I too lost weight on WW, but SP is how I'm really making the lifestyle change and maintaining, I wish you the best.

Welcome! You will find a welcoming supportive community here. I do recommend you join a few Spark Teams that interest you. Team members are so supportive and helpful. Plus, you will meet others with similar interests, goals, and or challenges. And being active on your Spark Teams will keep you accountable.
Best of luck to you!

I was on Weight Watchers for a year and lost 25 pounds but the cost has caused me to cancel my membership. I have been a long time member of Spark People, so I am continuing on my journey with Spark People instead of Weight Watchers. I will miss the meetings the most. The support and accountability have become very important to me.
