To turn off meal plans, go to the Nutrition Tracker. At the bottom of it, there are some buttons, one of which says "Change Nutrition Goals." Click it. Uncheck the meal plans and hit save. They'll be gone!
As far as your diet is concerned, who says you need to go low fat, low carb, high this low that? You don't! Eat what works for you! This is not a diet, it is a lifestyle change. You need to make changes you can live with for the rest of your life. The best thing you can do is track everything you put in your mouth (which you have weighed and/or measured) and stay in the ranges set forth by Spark. Those work for the vast majority of people.
And no no no, don't take diet pills. They cause more harm than good, and if you thought you were on the loo all day with the F-plan, imagine what it would be like taking a diet pill!
Weight loss is 80% diet, 20% fitness. Your metabolism sounds like it's always been good since you only needed fitness to maintain. Now that it's changing, it's time to step up your game. Spend a week tracking everything you eat (but eating the way you normally do). You'll probably be surprised with how much you're eating in relation to how much you need.

in theory practice and theory are the same - in practice they aren't ....... I need to work on the practice and the only way to do this is to measure what is actually happening ! .... good luck everyone ... xx
