Welcome to Spark!
For Spark to work for you, you need to take a hand in doing a couple of things. First, go to your nutrition and fitness sections from your points or start tabs. If you're not sure what eating plan you want, Spark will ask a few questions and create one for you to try. Same goes for fitness! Based on your eating plan, you will be able to look at Spark recipes that are inexpensive and that your picky eaters at home may enjoy with you.
Remember to weigh yourself at the same time every day. You'll get a better idea of what you weigh over time without ups and downs due to meals.
Next, set up a personal page. This is your jumping off space for your Spark experience. Your page allows other SparkPeople to find you and give you support and encouragement.
Finally, join a team or three! You talk about depression, stress, and parenting. We have teams for all that! Teams offer lots of information, super support from those who have "been there." And you'll find it's a fast way to get involved.
