YAY for you! You should make a spark page so we can all get to know you and cheer you on. Take it slow, make small, healthy changes every day you can live with permanently and you will be successful. Don't think of numbers on a scale or a deadline to loose weight. That leads to disappointment.

Hi all, Getting started on my weightless journey. Will be turning 40 in a few weeks and realized that it's time to reclaim my health and my life. The pain of being completely obsessed with my weight (too much weight) has led to feelings of self loathing, depression, and guilt upon failure. Enough is enough. Please wish me luck !
