SP has all the tools to help you reach your goals. The fitness and exercise trackers are really helpful and being active on your Spark Teams will help keep you motivated and accountable.
Plus, you will meet members with similar interests.
I do recommend you allow members to post on your Spark Page. Presently, you don't allow comments. That way you can get encouraging words, support, etc.
