So I joined this site several months ago but with my senior year of college to finish off this site and my health and well everything basically was put on the back burner until just a month ago. I'm still in the process of updating the weight and goals and all of that but this site was highly recommended to me by a friend and I look forward to experiencing this long journey of self discovery and change that will be a huge part of the weight loss journey I have already started. I'm about 3 weeks in and don't know what I'm doing but know I need support because although it has been 8 years since I moved back to Colorado from Hawaii, I'll be honest, the island is still in my heart and it just doesn't feel much like home (even though the man I love most in the entire world is at my side and trying to be as supportive as he can,.. although he doesn't quite get the whole weight loss bit).
I've tried many a crash diet over the years so if you want to know all the reasons why NOT to do them I can tell you why they are all bad. I'm here because I want to be a better, healthier, happier me and to do it right this time, the healthy way and I am not 100 percent sure how to do it. I look forward to getting to know everyone and hopefully I can be as supportive to you as I am sure many of you will be to me.
