I have yo-yo dieted for most of my adult life, and I'm not a spring chick. When I came within 3 pounds of my all time top weight with my knees and joints screaming daily, I made up my mind that it was time to take action. Once Again! Intellectually I know what healthy eating habits entail. However, I truly believe the studies that say you can become addicted to unhealthy carbs and sugar. It's like any addiction, one bad choice is too much, and a thousand is never enough. I don't want to fall off the unhealthy eating wagon again. I know I'm an emotional eater, and have already ready some Spark blog responses to combat this. I guess I'm trying to say having a support group other than family is important. So I'm going to give SparkPeople a try and really try to stick with my goal this time! Looking forward to getting to know this community!
