emoticon Andi. Congratulations on starting your exercise program and buddying up to do it. That's a great first step.

To get the most from SP, I'd suggest setting up your Sparkpage and making it public so it is easier for people to give you encouragement and support. Completing the welcome guide is a great way to learn what you can do here and where you can find any help you need.

Wishing you much success.

Welcome to SparkPeople. We are glad to have you here with us. That is great with 4 lbs gone and the inches coming off. Just take it one day at a time and you will get there. We are here for each other.

The rabbit lost the race, but the turtle won because he was slow and kept moving.

Hello my name is Andi. I am a 45 yr old mom of 3, a Navy veteran, and the wife of an Active duty Navy Chief. I have been diagnosed with Hoshimoto's thyroid disease, and am struggling to lose weight and keep it off. I currently joined a challenge groups with friends and am doin the T-25 work out with them. We started 1/13/14, and in week one I have lost 4 lbs and inches everywhere. I am looking forward to the advice and help and support this site can give.
