I recently had back surgery (3 weeks ago) Prior to that I had put on 43 pounds because my back issues had interfered with my ability to be active. Now post surgery I am trying to increase my activity for several reasons. Increase stamina post surgery. Increase mood. Become more active in general. Lose weight. Been at it a week now and lost 4 pounds and walked 2.5 miles. Weather has been an issue BRRR!!! Rain. And not being able to drive. I can now drive so it increases my places to do my walk. I am not sure what exercises I can do at this time in my recovery. Need core strength. Any help or ideas would be welcome.
