I've been a member for a while, but I really need to get serious! I'm not at my heaviest, but I'm close, I don't want to go there again.
I'm a country girl, 38, with a job that's both office and traveling (newspaper reporter, so lots of sitting), married with two cats. We live next door to my parents and share one meal a day with them, and I do most of the cooking for that, so I have more control over what gets cooked.
My first weight goal is 5% or 13 pounds. I also need motivated to move more. We have a Wii and the Wii Fit games, but the challenge there is keeping the living room clear enough to use the Wii. I want to change one meal a day, starting with breakfast. I'm thinking oatmeal is my best bet because it keeps me full and I can switch out different fruits to make it interesting.
I need to lose weight both for health reasons and just to feel better about myself. :)
