Take this first week to familiarize yourself with the tools here. Once you get used to using them, it becomes easier to use them even when you are busy. Personally, I spent my first week learning to use the tools, and just tracking everything I was already eating and doing for exercise. It gave me a baseline to work from. It also gave me a chance to really decide what my goals were, and how to get there.

This site can only provide the support and the tools to reach these goals. You need to put the hard work in. Personally, I end up kicking my own butt every day. Feel free to check out my blogs to see how I kick my butt out the door to get my fitness in. I can tell you, once I am finished with my exercise for the day, I feel great. No more I should do this and I should do that. Instead, I feel accomplished, and able to relax and enjoy the rest of my day.

I am with you...had a tough day yesterday with my eating...I will just have to keep starting over until I get it right. The thing is that I actually like the diet...just can't seem to pull it together...

Hey Msmakeover, I'm starting over on Monday (again!)..got off track and can't seem to get it together..anyway I'm tracking my calories at least, so I haven't gained any more even though I haven't lost either...I have to keep thinking summer...gotta get this weight off... emoticon

MsMakeover hang in there..I cheated over the last couple of days (ate popcorn which isn't on phase 1, and I ate wheat pasta in place of brown rice, and a couple other things emoticon ), anyway, I will start over on Monday with Phase I again...I should be into phase II by now, but I since I messed up I'm starting back on phase 1...lost 4 lbs. tho..we will continue to encourage each other!

Hey Lcrumm, nice to hear back from you. You are welcome. It was going well last week. I lost 8lbs...and gained 5lbs over the weekend. WTW, I am a bit discouraged, but trying to keep at it. I do like the diet. I am in Phase II and it really isn't that hard. Thanks for asking. I appreciate it.

There is a team here for the Fat Smash Diet, but it really isn't active. I sure wish it was...sigh

Thanks so much Msmakeover..This plan works for me. Did it last year yr and lost about 14 lbs. Then summer came and vacation (we eat a lot) on our vacations..anyway then holidays and it was on!! Now I'm back, starting again.

The Fat Smash Diet was developed by Dr. IAN SMITH of Celebrity Weight Loss..the plan has three phases, and each phase gives you a list of foods you can eat. Lots of fruits and veggies..you can read more on line, just google Fat Smash Diet.

I'm not a newbie either, but once a year I start my New year's diet ... trying to lose 20 lbs by summer.is anyone doing the Fat Smash diet? That's what I'm trying..
