Hello I actually just signed up for the star wars 5k that will take place in January and the hubby and I will be signing up for the tinkerbell 10k. .. we have just started training and can currently do 2 miles in 34 minutes... we are building up to the 3.1 miles. .. There is plenty of time just take it day by day and try to find the pace that works for you!

You can do it! I am 240 and just signed up for the Run Disney Tower of Terror 10 Miler in October. I have started doing the C25K to prepare for it. I will then advance to the C210K. I started eating differently and no matter what, I work out everyday! Good Luck and keep it up!!

Don't lose yourself, just the inches :)

I'm new to this but very much need to do something. My goal, dream or whatever you want to call it is to do the Tinker Bell 10K at Disneyland January 2015.

I'm 48 years old and currently weigh 254 pounds. I have never run a day in my life. The run requires that you do a 16 minute mile - I'm scared. My spouse suggested I pick a different event, that a 16 minute mile might be to much to aim for. This is what I want, I'm trying to be motivated, stay motivated and believe that I can make changes, that I can do this.

Anyone want to do this journey together and meet up at Disneyland in January 2015 and run a 16 minute mile with me?
