Started DASH Diet Weight Loss Solution (book by Marla Heller, M.S., R.D.) on 3/8/2013. Lost 40 lbs total and reached goal weight on 10/23/2013. Practicing maintenance (through setbacks) with commitment and enthusiasm!
i have a lot to lose too i need friends doing this new life changing plan i have bad knees too i have a problem with depression that makes it hard to me get out i need water exercise i try to walk the dog when i can get out
Way to take the first step on your weight loss journey! I have a bad ankle from sports in high school and seemed to have problems when I first started out with the weight loss journey. Not sure how extensive your knee problem is but you might start by walking around the neighborhood and I know there are work out dvds that have moderations! The biggest loser at home challenge was my go to dvd when I started out because it wasn't too hard on my ankle. You also might want to look into water aerobics! If you have a bad knee water aerobics would be something great for you to do and the water creates that extra resistance! If you ever need any support/motivation feel free to send me a message. I am new to this game and am looking for friends, and partners for weight loss. I am looking to drop 133 pounds. I am ready for life change. After a lifetime of bad habits, I am ready to change. I have a bad knee and am open to exercise suggestions for this problem. Thanks all!! Cass
