Hi everyone, I am here to learn to live healthier. I live in Whitefield Maine on 50 acres with hubby (24 years married) and our puppy Dessah. We have 5 children between us, and nearly 20 grandchildren ages 9 mos to 20. My husband recently was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia, we are both diabetic. I have been diagnosed with a few mental illnesses, which are challenging. My A1C a few months ago was 11.7, It is down to 7.5 and my goal is to get it down to 6.0. We have only recently begun to eat more organic and more healthy, getting all sugars out of our systems as well as all aspartame.
I am beginning to prepare for garden living, never had one before. I hope I can find the energy to actually do the garden.
My goal is to get down to about 130 pounds right now I weigh 170.
I am a christian of pentecostal background. My faith in God is extremely important to me. A church friend told me recently "God said you are his temple not his cathedral." That started me wanting to truly lose weight.
I am a work in progress.
Sin isn't sin because God said so. God said so because it is.
