Hi and welcome to SP! Well first of all I suggest going through some tutorial...here is the video tutorial page to get you started!

Next I would suggest becoming part of a sparkteam. They are a great way to find friends, motivation, encourgment and give the same to others.

Go to the top of the page and put your cursor over the button that says "community" then in the drop down box click "sparkteams". There you can search for ones with like interests, goals and struggles...

I'd love to know how it all works and the best ways to be successful with this program. I have tried to lose weight by myself, and it has been an epic failure. I need encouragement and support. I'd love to have friends on SparkPeople that will motivate me and that I can in turn motivate.
