I've been away from SparkPeople for a few years and have decided to commit to journaling through this program again. I started a private clinic and got rid of 188.2 pounds in the past year and I'm within the last 10 pounds to reach goal weight. I'm on an Educational Maintenance program right now trying to get rid of the last little bit of weight -- I was down to 2.6 pounds away from goal but adding foods and hiking/walking (9-13 km) per day I've put on 9 pounds -- down a little this week but really struggling to get the weight off within the strict 8 weeks of this maintenance program -- if I don't make it to goal weight I have to decide to go back to their strict program or leave their program altogether -- I'm leaving in a few weeks for a vacation in South Africa so I'll make my decision when I return. Hoping I can get to goal before I leave and maintain while I'm away.
