As you probably know, there are so many great resources here! I recommend starting with the nutrition/food tracker (if you haven't already) because that is the key element in weight loss for most people. Then, once you're comfortable with tracking your food on a daily basis, start exploring more areas of this site. I still find something new here almost every day. By tracking everything since May 2011 and using the other features here to keep myself focused, I lost 90 pounds and have maintained that loss for over a year now. It takes a little bit of time, but it is sooooo worth it!

I'm not really new to the site but I haven't been all that active on the message boards, so I wanted to say hi and introduce myself.
I'm 35 years old, married with two teenage stepchildren, living in Western North Carolina. I also have 3 furry children, my spoiled rotten cats. I have a significant amount of weight to lose, and I'm really just starting out. SparkPeople is a great motivator!
