I'd say I hit rock bottom, but I prefer to say I've hit a turning point. Last Friday was my last day of work after a contentious year of trying to work with my new supervisor. She and I never saw eye to eye on anything and it was a very stressful year in which I gained back 70 lbs. YIKES.

Rather than continue the stressful situation at work, I decided to resign and to spend some time working on changing my life. I am back on the SPARK program, I'm walking and cycling and I'm taking time to discern what my next career move ought to be as 50 looms on the horizon.

I'm hopeful this morning.
